Cool idea, however it Kida hard to play since the page scrolls whenever you go up or down.
But really impressive that this was made for the real hardware, I can only imaging how difficult that must be.

Thanks for the review! The page doesn't scroll on my machine so thanks for letting me know. I'll try to fix this right away, maybe I can add WASD controls as well.
EDIT: I added some code that should prevent the scrolling, as well as WASD controls!
the style is great, hovever some of the enemy placements are kind of annoying. like the first big guy you see who's saying in the hallway. I kinda just needed to wait on the other platform and then go hit the guy. maybe it there was some sort of crouching for those senarios it would be helpful.
how does it know if ive drawn 3 bibles? honestly that guy was an asshole
Im gonna play this on my phone!
Very interesting concept. However the controls are a bit finicky and i needed to constantly pick up my mouse to move around.
Hey, thanks :)
Yes, (for context, this is an old jam game I'm sharing here) the responsiveness of the controls can vary depending on your sensitivity and other parameters.
after i finished the game, the guy came to my house and he beat me up.
If i had a nickel for every game ive played on newgrounds that involves a bird wall-jumping alway from saws, Id have 2 nickels.
anyways, rome designs are pretty solid. I really liked the vertical ones.
i kinda wish this had a level editor
The gameplay is pretty addicting. the controls are tight and the animation is crisp.
pico 8 must have some advances tools for all these rotating and perspective'd stuff thats flying around everywhere, considering lots of other pico 8 games i see have that as well.
a time based metroidvania? pretty neat. one thing i think would be cool is that you could kill enemys to give you more time
Thanks for the feedback!
