Original work my friend
this is really Good! nice melody, good choice of instruments. you've improved alot.
Thanks!
I absolutely love the backing track and melody! also what type of wave is it you use at the end?
Thank you, I'm so glad you enjoy! :)
The type of wave I used there is a slightly modulated pulse wave with some detuning and vibrato. I custom-made it using Sytrus B)
the tempo could be a bit faster, and whatever it is that's constantly swelling in volume at the beginning could be quieter.
you could add a drum beat to add some more motion to the song
i rly like the square at the end tho,
Thank you!
Excellent Track! I like the ideas presented and the simple melody.
Reminds me of something you'd hear in a homestuck flash.
I think that adding some low chords would help give it some extra weight.
(super personal preference here but one of the SGM soundfont's grand pianos would do wonders. )
Thank you :)
I think the lack of layering is kind of a bad habit of mine already, it started because LMMS isn't really doing anything to prevent phasing issues by default (I still don't think I got around this). I tried to get some sort of harmony going at ~1:06, but even with two notes bass already sounds muddy :c
Believe it or not, I'm actually more of a piano guy myself, however another bad habit of mine (which goes beyond composing) makes me only take things via word of mouth so I'm yet to get into soundfonts and only piano vst "I" found never really sounded like I wanted to :)
Thanks for responding, you really made my day :P
I can link a project file, you can add what you want yourself lol
wait, who's suposed to be singing the song?
while the spaceship is a metaphor, I did try to make the vocals sound like an astronaut!
